Hello DWL Families! Save the date for our Back to School Campus Scavenger Hunt
Friday August 2nd 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Come explore the DWL campus with your student to find their classroom and other school locations prior to their first day of school. Students will be able to complete a brief scavenger hunt and receive a popsicle.
A welcome letter will be sent out via email next week with more information about other upcoming events, so keep an eye out!
The Data Confirmation Window is currently open. To obtain your child's teacher assignment, parents need to complete the Data Confirmation process and review the Family-Student Handbook. Visit the district's website or go to https://aeries.etiwanda.org/parent.
Teacher assignments will be available using the link on the bottom of the district's homepage according to the following dates:
- July 31st at 4:00 PM for Preschool and TK families
- August 1st at 4:00 PM for Kindergarten - 8th grade families.

We are so excited for Shrey from DCIS as he competes tonight in the final round of the Scripps National Spelling Bee! The finals will be televised today on the ION channel, and we invite everyone to tune in and cheer for Shrey on this prestigious stage. Students had a blast during Sports Day on the last day of school! Thanks to all of our parent volunteers, it was a huge success! Then, PTO handed out smoothies to all students...what a great way to finish up the school year and head into summer. Thanks for a great year, Rangers, see you in August!!
On Wednesday, our 5th grade Rangers produced a student-led promotion ceremony. It was absolutely beautiful, a truly special day. We are so proud of you, and wish you all the best as you begin the next chapter of your educational journey. A huge thank you goes out to the amazing 5th grade instructional team for all the preparation, your hard work paid definitely off!!

On Friday, members from the ESD Board and Cabinet came to recognize some of our amazing staff for their years of service to Etiwanda School District. They were all cheered on by their students. We are so lucky to have such hard working, dedicated, and passionate educators at DWL!! Thank you for everything you do for your students!!
Another "Long BINGO" winner!! This time, Mrs. Moss's 2nd grade class won a donut party!!
During the past couple weeks of state testing, the whole school has been playing "Long Bingo!" Every morning during announcements, Mrs. Waters calls out two Bingo numbers, and the first couple classes to call to the office with a BINGO gets prizes...today our first winners called- from CHILDCARE!! They won a donut party and the adults also won "new cars!" 😁😁
