I am so excited to be starting my 21st year of teaching, 12 of which have been teaching TK here at DWLong.

I have been very blessed to call this amazing school and community my home since its beginning. I started here as a parent, PTO president, substitute teacher and then teacher. All three of my children went to Long and my daughter Jessica, is now Mrs. Jessica Cantu, DWL's 3rd grade teacher.

I love teaching, especially TK. It is my happy place. I love encouraging my students to love learning and make every moment a teachable moment. I am super excited to be joined by my partners; Mrs. Ludovico, and Mrs. DiMuccio. As always I have the continued support of my teacher aide- Mrs. B and I look forward to creating a new adventure in our TK classroom.

I know this year will be filled with joy, excitement, opportunities and happy moments for the students, families and staff!

Welcome to TK! I am so excited to begin this amazing journey with your family! This is my 20th year teaching in the Etiwanda School District. Although I have taught middle school and some other grade levels, my heart lies with the younger kids. TK is the best place to be and I'm so thankful to have my amazing partner, Mrs. Nuaimi, to help navigate through all the adventures. We are also lucky to have Mrs. Gibson to assist with all things TK.

My husband works in the district as a Speech Pathologist. We have 1 son starting his senior year at Etiwanda High School. Our other son is currently at the Air Force Academy as a kicker for the football team. My fur babies, Marley, Jaxon and Maggie, bring me lots of love and enjoyment. They live a spoiled life!

I look forward to the upcoming year and all the adventures we will take!

Hello TK Families,

My name is Mrs. DiMuccio and I have been teaching at D.W.Long for 18 years. All 3 of my children have attended Long and we love to call this school our home. My teaching experience comes from TK-3rd grade. I love everything about the primary grades.

I am so blessed to be working with Mrs. Nuaimi, Mrs. Ludovico, Mrs. B and Mrs. Kirk. We have an amazing TK team that will love, guide, teach and support our future TK students. TK is the best place to be!

Hello TK familes! I’m so excited for our year together in Transitional Kindergarten! I have taught at DWL since 2006 in the primary grades, TK-1st!  My husband and I have two beautiful daughters who are former DWL Rangers themselves. We have our fur-baby, Zoe, who joins us whenever she can. Our family loves spending time going to the beach, hiking, enjoying the outdoors, and visiting Disneyland. 

I absolutely love teaching and building relationships with my students and families. I have an amazing TK partner, Mrs. DiMuccio and our wonderful aide, Mrs. Kirk, who supports our class family in all ways TK. I’m very blessed to be partnering with such a wonderful team

I look forward to a year filled with fun, adventures, connections, and learning and growing together in our class family!

We are working on Theme 1 Week 1

Dear Families,

This week we’re beginning a new theme in our classroom, “My School and Me”. In the first week of this theme, children will be introduced to their classroom, their teacher, their classmates, and to the school campus. The first week of school will be very exciting for your child with so many new things to learn including new school routines. We will be talking about routines your child does at home to get ready for school, such as getting dressed, eating breakfast, and brushing teeth. Review with your child how he or she gets ready for school. Ask: What do you do first? Next? Last?
