This year is going to be a great year for our first graders ....We are so excited to have your students join us in first grade this year! Students will need a healthy snack, backpack & water bottle. Please be sure your child is aware of their breakfast and lunch needs.

Hello, Room 8 Families! I'm so excited for our year together in 1st grade :) This is my 10th year at DWL, where I have taught TK, Kinder, and part-time 3rd grade, and this is my 5th year teaching 1st grade! My husband, Dana, and I have been married for 19 years :) We have two beautiful daughters, Dillan and Alyssa, who are former DWL Rangers. We also have a sweet fur baby, Zoe. My family and I love to go to the beach, ride bikes and scooters, have fun outdoors, play board games, visit amusement parks, and travel. Some things that make me smile are Starbucks, Diet Coke, the colors pink and teal, Yogurtland, and shopping on Amazon. I LOVE teaching and building relationships with my students....we genuinely become a class family. I look forward to a wonderful year connecting, learning, and growing together!

Welcome to first grade! My name is Stephanie Hopkins and I'm excited for the up coming school year. I have been teaching here at DWL for over twenty years and have enjoyed every minute of it. As a teacher, I strongly believe that all of my students have unique gifts , talents and abilities. With this in mind I strive to create a fun-loving environment that allows each and every learner to achieve. At home you would find me, spending time with my family, enjoying my garden and raising my chickens. I can't wait to meet my new rangers!

Hello first grade families!  I am so excited to start a new year at DWL.  Throughout my teaching career, I have taught 5th, 4th, and 1st grades.  DWL has been my home away from home for over 20 years.  I live in Rancho Cucamonga with my husband, two kids, and three dogs.  When I am not at school, I am usually reading, gardening, or with my family.  I enjoy baking, Pepsi, chocolate, and browsing at Target.  I am so excited for this upcoming year!

Welcome first graders! I am Mrs. Eiland  and I'm so excited to be in First Grade with each of you! This is my first year teaching first grade but I've taught at DWL for 8 years. I can not wait to get to know all of you this school year. When I am not in the classroom you can find me out in the garden, reading, hiking, and camping with my husband and 4 year old. This school year is going to be a fantastic adventure first graders!

Homework will be sent home on Fridays and returned the following Friday in your students black folders.
